The Quest

Throughout most of the book, Jason, Leo, and Piper were on a quest to save the Greek goddess, Hera from the evil mother earth, Gaea, who has her trapped in a cage and is slowly draining her energy to create the evil giant, Porphyrion who will, with the help of some other giants, replace the gods and rule the world. First they find their ride, a giant, metal, flying, fire breathing dragon. They have to make their way from New York to Quebec just to find out were to go. It turned out that they had to go to Pike’s Peak in the southern part of the Rockies so that they could find were Porphyrion was. They also had to find the giant, Enceladus, who was holding Piper’s dad hostage. On the way, they fought giant, metal cyclopses, an undead woman trying to kill them in her store (where they found Coach Hedge and the ventus they needed to give to the god on Pike’s Peak so that he would tell them where to go), and undead King Midas. Once they got to Pike’s Peak, the god Aeolus told them where to find Enceladu s. Enceladus was on Mount Diablo. Once they got there, all of the real action started.
